- Click “Send transfer” in home page
- Select the destination country
- Select the currency and enter the amount you want the recipient to get. We’ll calculate the cost of transfer and inform you about the amount you need to pay. Click “Next.”
- Fill out the recipient’s details: their first name, last name, patronymic (if they have it), and mobile phone number. Check if everything is correct. If you make a mistake, your recipient will not be able to collect the money at the bank. Click “Next.”
- Fill out the sender’s details: your first name, last name, patronymic (if you have it). With some countries, you need to provide additional information; simply fill in the remaining fields. Click “Next.”
- Check if everything is correct. At this stage, you can still change the details. If all is good, click “Next.”
- Make sure you have a card at hand with the 3D Secure support (that is, transactions are confirmed by SMS).
- Fill in the card details: its number, expiration date, and the 3-digit CVC2/CVV2 code from the back of the card. Click “Pay.”
- Enter the code you receive from the bank. Click “Pay.”
Congratulations, the money has been sent!
Important notice: share the unique reference number with the recipient so that they can collect the money or track the transfer’s status in the app.
You will see the transfer commission amount once you’ve selected the destination country and the currency, and entered the transfer amount in the Money Transfers Online section.
We don’t charge any commission for transfers with conversion and transfers from Europe.
Some banks charge their own commission fees for third-party money transfers. Please contact your bank to learn more.
Usually, the money is delivered within three business days.
To learn about the currencies available for collection in a specific country, select the destination country in the Money Transfers Online section and click on the currency field to see available options.
- For cards issued by a bank in the Russian Federation, payments are in Russian roubles
If you are sending a transfer in one currency and pay for it in another one (for example, you are sending $1,000 to Uzbekistan and paying with your euro card), our conversion rate is applied.
To see the precise conversion rate for the specific currency, select the destination country and the currency in the Money Transfers Online section and enter the transfer amount.
The system will calculate the cost of transfer and inform you about the conversion rate and the amount you need to pay.
You can pay for you transfers with cards issued by a Russian bank
The card must have the 3D Secure support (that is, transactions are confirmed by SMS).
The maximum total transfer amount over a 30-day period is 600,000 RUB. Other limits.
The limits depend on the user’s level. See limits for other levels.
The total amount you are paying is accounted for either the transfer commission, or the conversion rate.
The rate that applies to calculating the amount to be paid is accurate to eight decimal places, while on the website it is expressed to only two decimal places. The round-off can make the two amounts different.
This means that currently this country is not covered by the Korona service.
If the money has been debited to your card but your recipient cannot collect the transfer, please contact our Support service at +7 495 766-48-98.
You can track your transfer’s status on the website, or in the Korona app that you can download from the App Store or Google Play.
As long as your recipient hasn’t collected the money, you can still change the recipient’s details. To do this,
- Log in to your Personal account by the phone number you have provided when sending the transfer, and the password sent to you by SMS.
- In history, click the needed transfer to access the transfer details. Click “Change.”
- Edit the respective details and check that the rest of the information is correct. Click “Next.”
- Enter the number of the card you used to pay for the transfer. This is needed to verify that the sender and the person who is modifying the transfer details, is the same person.
- Enter the code sent to your phone number and click “Change transfer.”
As long as your recipient hasn’t collected the money, you may cancel the transfer and get a refund on the whole amount except for the commission fee (if applicable).
On the website, in the Money Transfers Online section:
- Log in to your Personal account by the phone number you have provided when sending the transfer, and the password sent to you by SMS.
- Find the transfer you’d like to cancel in History and click “Refund.”
- Enter the code sent to you by SMS and click “Refund.”
In the app:
- In History, click the needed transfer to access the transfer details. Click “Refund.”
- Enter the code sent to your phone number. This is needed to verify that the transfer is being refunded by the same person who sent it.
- Click “Refund.”
We will refund the money to the card used to pay for the transfer. This may take up to 5 business days depending on your bank.
If you’re repeating a transfer, the destination country and the recipient remain the same, but you can change the amount and the currency.
To repeat a transfer in the app:
- Select the transfer in History and click “Repeat,” or select the needed entry from the frequent recipients list
- Change the amount and the currency if needed
- Click “Calculate.”
- Check if everything is correct
- Pay for your transfer
